2011, 19th Annual Kalamazoo Klash (37 Photos)It was a great race and the stands were packed! Winner Phil Bozell ran a steady race for the first 100 lap segment, gaining 7 positions to 6th place. In the final 50 lap segment, Bozell took the lead from 2008 Klash winner, Terry Senneker, on lap 110 and streaked to the finish line over 7 seconds ahead of Steve Needles, who won the race in 2009. 2006 Klash winner, Johnny Benson, drove the Larry Zent-owned entry to third. |

Point leader Mark Anderson finished second and Northern Michigan standout, Mark Kurth, ended up third. |

2011 Modpalooza IV (42 Photos)Mark Anderson of Lowell, MI, became the first two-time winner of Hartford (MI) Motor Speedway's annual Modpalooza event on Friday 6-3-11. Mark held off stiff challenges from Frank Marshall and Brian Ruhlman on the way to his big win. Anderson's take for the evening amounted to over $2,000 in cash and $1,000 in product courtesy of Dart Heads and Landrum Springs. Alan Vochaska won the Late Model feature and Ryan Flagel took the Pure Stock main. |

2010 Lane 46 At Hartford Motor Speedway (84 Photos)August 27 - Solon Springs, WI driver, Brady Smith, found Hartford (MI) Motor Speedway to his liking and grabbed the feature win! The Lane 46 Presented By K&N Filters (46 lap race) was sanctioned by the American Late Model Series (ALMS) and drivers competed for the $4600 winner's share of a $19,000+ purse. The race also offered $46 per lap to the leader, making it possible to win over $6700! |

2011 Motor State Challenge - Saturday At Gingerman (31 Photos)Saturday, Pro-Tourers gathered at Gingerman Raceway, a well-known road course near South Haven, MI for a chance to turn in some thundering laps. Novice drivers were led through the course by a pace car while experienced drivers were given more leeway. All were required to exercise prudent judgment in the interest of safety. Following a day of road racing fun, everyone was treated to a BBQ dinner. |

During the day, throughout the competition, food was served by the Lane Automotive Relay for Life team for a $5.00 donation. At the conclusion of the Autocross event, awards were presented. |

2010 Motor State Challenge - Friday Cruise (68 Photos)Friday's events included Motor State facility tours, the driver's meeting, a 50 to 60 mile cruise along the Lake Michigan shoreline and finally a cookout dinner at Warren Dunes State Park. Everything went well until the cookout, when a large storm put a damper on the fun. Hopefully everyone still had a great day. |

Over 16,000 show attendees came from all over the Midwest to enjoy the spectacle which included everything from restored antiques to rumbling hot rods, muscle cars and off-road vehicles. |
