2008 Lane Automotive Car Show!

This year will mark the 20th Anniversary of our car show! The event starts Friday, May 23rd with the Open Header Cruise which departs from the Watervliet North Elementary School at 5:00 PM. As the open header cars arrive at Lane Automotive, the Cruise-In will be revving up for a night of cars, live music, food and fun. The Car Show starts at 9:00 AM, Saturday May 24th and runs until 3:00 PM. These events are FREE to spectators and participants!

Besides the amazing array of vehicles, we have manufacturer booths and displays, food vendors, tours of our facility and the Show Room (our parts store). Past car shows have attracted 1,200 show vehicles and 10,000 spectators. Make plans to join the fun this year!

Open Header Cruise

Imagine several dozen hot rods without benefit of muffled exhausts, rumbling through downtown Watervliet on their way to the Lane Automotive Cruise Night Celebration. Now, imagine these same hot rods doing so without any interference from the local police force. One more picture. How about three nitro dragsters pulling in to join the cruise on its last leg toward the celebration. You'll be able to give your imagination a rest Friday night, May 23rd, as this scene will take place for real. There's still time to uncap those headers and join us as we line up and cruise from the Watervliet North Elementary School at 5:00 pm. See links below for sign-up and details.

The Kalamazoo Klash Super Series

New for 2008, will be "The Klash Super Series", presented by Lane Automotive and Boyne Machine. Jumping on the wave of success and tradition of the Midwest's number one Late Model race, this new four race Klash Series will offer the Midwest Outlaw Late Model teams and fans the hype and excitement on four separate occasions.
