Jackson, MI driver, Rusty Schlenk took advantage of his front row starting spot to grab the win in the 4th Annual Who 55 Presented By K&N Filters and Lane Automotive held July 6th at Merritt (MI) Speedway. Schlenk, who is the current UMP National and ALMS points leader, lead the entire 55 lap event, won a preliminary heat, and took home over $8500 in purse and lap money. 2009 Who 55 winner, Dona Marcoullier of Houghton Lake, MI, rallied from his 11th starting slot to grab 2nd, putting heavy pressure on Schlenk after a late-race restart. West Michigan hotshoe, Tom Sprague Jr. of Muskegon, finished third after winning a preliminary heat. Scott Baker of Ionia, MI gained 11 positions, ending up in 4th place after starting 15th. 5th place in the final rundown was taken by Andy Chester of Kingsley, MI. Other heat race winners included Adam Erickson, Kevin Nelson Jr. and Kris Patterson. Winners of the consolation events were Sam Epling and Alan Vochaska, who also won The Race of Champions and was fast qualifier out of 49 entries. Merritt's Sportsman division was also in action and Dan Hersey of Traverse City, MI took the feature win.
