Senneker Captures Kalamazoo Klash

Terry Senneker, of Wayland MI scored his biggest career Super Late Model win, grabbing the 16th edition of the Kalamazoo Klash, held Wednesday August 20th at the Kalamazoo (MI) Speedway. Senneker started 18th in the 26 car field and worked his way to the front shortly before the 100 lap break. The final segment, which lasted 50 laps, found Terry in a heated battle with veteran driver, Joe Bush, for the $10,000 winner's share of the Edelbrock-sponsored event. Senneker prevailed in his TAG Racing entry, topping Bush by less than a car length at Starter Rick Beebe's checkers. Buddy Head was victorious in the B-Feature and transferred to the Klash. The C-Feature went to Jeff Vochaska. Brian Bergakker topped a tough field to win the companion Modified feature. Brian performed double duty, finishing a fine 5th place in the Klash.
